I'm a university-qualified Clinical Nutritionist and Certified Metabolic Balance® Practitioner based in Townsville, Queensland. I work with local clients in person by arrangement, and with women and men all across Australia via Telehealth.
I help people struggling with stubborn weight gain, gut issues, hormonal imbalances and low energy finally understand what their body actually needs, so they can feel like themselves again. Why I Became a Nutritionist
My journey into nutrition didn't start in a textbook, it started with my own health struggles.
About ten plus years ago, I became really sick, and it crippled my life. I couldn't attend work, socialise, or live any part of my everyday lifestyle. After seeing numerous specialists who had no answers, I decided the only person who would help me was myself. I was my own best advocate.
I started changing what I ate to rebuild my body from the inside out. From that, I realised just how important it is to know what we put into our bodies and it set me on the path to becoming a nutritionist. So I returned to university and completed my Bachelor's degree in Nutrition.
Along the way, my passion for food as medicine was really ignited. I also have a food intolerance myself, so I genuinely feel for those navigating intolerances and allergies. I know the challenges you face, because I've faced them too. That experience changed my life and now I'm on a path to help others do the same.
